Adventist Youth Ministries

Leader: Tracey Ballard

Equips our youth spiritually, mentally, and physically and helps them share Jesus' love with others.

Adventurers

Leader: Sarah Bain

A family-friendly club for children ages 4 to 9 with Bible stories, hands-on activities, and service projects.

Benevolence Committee

Leader: Neva Artis

Provides compassionate assistance to members and neighbors facing hardship.

Children's Ministry

Leaders: Sarah Bain & Lydia Jordan-Parnell

Nurtures the faith of children from birth to age 14 through Children's Sabbath School and Bible teaching that leads them to Jesus.

Communication Department

Leader: Kendra Thorpe-Cooley

Shares church news inside and outside our walls through announcements, the newsletter, and social media.

Community Engagement

Leader: Dolby Knott

Leads our Soup Kitchen and Grocery Day and serves neighbors with practical help and compassion.

Deaconesses

Prepare for Communion and baptisms, care for baptismal robes, and visit and assist members who are sick, grieving, or in need.

Deacons

Assist in worship services, care for the church property, help with Communion and baptisms, and look after the physical needs of the congregation.

Family Life

Strengthens marriages, parents, and families with Bible-based resources, seminars, and support.

Health & Temperance

Encourages whole-person health, including nutrition, exercise, rest, and freedom from harmful substances, through education and practical support.

Home & School

Connects parents, teachers, and the church to support Seventh-day Adventist education and Christian learning at home.

Hospitality Department

Leader: Candice Brown

Helps every guest and member feel at home through warm greetings, fellowship meals, and special-event care.

Media Ministry

Leader: Michael Green

Runs sound, slides, and our online livestream so worship reaches people in the sanctuary and at home.

Men's Ministry

Leader: Marquin Martha

Mobilizes men for their faith, families, congregation, and community through fellowship, mentoring, and service.

Mental Health Committee

Leader: Dora Dixie

Promotes emotional and mental wellness by raising awareness, offering education, and pointing people to support.

Music Ministry

Leaders: Marion Thompson, Jo Ella Gause & Marisa Livingston

Leads the congregation in praise and prepares music that lifts up Christ in worship. Singers and musicians of every skill level are welcome to serve.

Pathfinders

Leader: Verdell Williamson-Porter

A club for ages 10 to 15 that builds faith, character, and leadership through Bible study, outdoor adventure, and community service.

Personal Ministry

Equips members to share the gospel and the love of Christ through Bible studies, witnessing, and outreach.

Prayer Ministry

Leader: Clarinal Fane

Offers prayer experiences, small groups, and training to help members and neighbors grow in prayer. Prayer requests are always welcome.

Public Affairs & Religious Liberty (P.A.R.L.)

Leader: Gloria Ricketts

Defends the God-given freedom of conscience and helps our community understand who Seventh-day Adventists are and how we serve.

Sabbath School

Leader: Robyn Grange

The church's Bible study system, built on Scripture study, fellowship, community outreach, and world mission. Classes for every age meet Sabbath mornings at 10:00 AM.

Stewardship

Leader: Vernice Shorey

Teaches faithful management of time, talents, and treasure, recognizing Jesus Christ as Lord of all of life.

Usher Department

Leader: Karen Lucas

Welcomes worshipers at the door, helps guests find a seat, and keeps worship orderly and reverent.

Women's Ministry

Leader: Susette Lunceford

Helps women grow in faith, use their gifts, and serve at home, in the church, and in the community.

Young Adult Ministry

Leader: Zackary Livingston

Faith, fellowship, and service for young adults who want to grow in Christ and take part in the church's mission.

First Elder

Leader: Sylvia Dixon

Leads the church's elders in spiritual oversight, working with the pastor to shepherd and care for the congregation.

Head Deacon

Leader: Daniel Christopher

Leads the deacons, coordinating their service in worship, care of the church building, and support of members.

Head Deaconess

Leads the deaconesses, coordinating their service in Communion and baptism preparation and in care for members.

Clerk

Leader: Crystal Allen

Keeps the church's membership records and the minutes of business meetings, and handles membership transfers. Assistant Clerk Jo Ella Gause serves with her.

Treasurer

Leader: Shanita Martha

Receives and safeguards the church's tithes and offerings and reports on them faithfully. Undertreasurer Vernice Shorey and Assistant Treasurer Toye Simmons serve with her.

Facility Manager

Leader: Sherman St. Hill

Oversees the care, maintenance, and safety of the church building and grounds.

Finance Committee Chair

Leader: David Harper

Leads the committee that prepares and oversees the church budget and guides the responsible use of church funds.

Administrative Assistant

Staff: Jo Ella Gause
